Are these tests an early positive or not!?

hey everybody, yesterday i did two pregnancy tests (the strips), i did one and saw the faintest line ever when i hold it next to a white surface so i did another and its the same, i cant really tell in artificial light but in daylight i can see it more clear or if i hold it upto the window, i put on a post about it and got a lot of feed back of wemon who it had happened to and got a positive in the end or not, anyway i did a test this afternoon, a first response, and i couldnt see anything, i didnt take it out of the casing,,i doesnt look good now but could it be that im really early and the 2 different tests are different strengths, just to add, i have always been 28 day cycle untill about 4 months ago were its started being 1,2,-3 weeks late, yesterday would be day 28 of my cycle so i dont know if i was due on or not anyway lol crazy women bodies!!

i have been doing the test strips for months and never got any marks show up, not even evap lines....help!!

I have a feeling you're prego.  HPTs specifically test for HCG, and I can't imagine you getting even a faint line if you weren't.  

First morning urine normally holds the highest concentration of it, so that could be why you saw the line there but not this afternoon.

I would wait a day or so and test again.  Or visit your doc for a blood test.

u r not suppose to take a hpt untill after 7 days of a missed period.but if u still feel that u can be pregnant then i suggest that u go to a clinic first thing in the morning & get a blood test done.hpt can never pick up so early.a blood test is the only thing that can confirm it.all the best & baby dust to u.

I dunno - I thought so when i saw a line, but it turned out to be just the evaporation line. It would be best to try again in a few days. Does the line have any colour to it. Sometimes when you look at something so much, you see what you want to.

Give it a few days and test again.

any line in the result window - however faint - means a positive. The negative you got today was probably because it was a different brand and because you did it later in the day. False negatives are common but you will NEVER get a false positive (unless you recently miscarried and still have the hormone in your system).

For your own peace of mind, take another test in 2-3 days.

when i tested i had the most faintest line ever you really had to squint i did 3 of these tests of which 2 showed really really faint and one not at all i thought it was evap lines so i went out and brought a test which was the digital one that says pregnant or not pregnant thought this would be easier than pondering over the 2 tests i did the digital with early morning pee and it said pregnant i was amazed as ttc long time and now I'm 17wks so i would think yours are positive but get a digital to put your mind at ease.
