Are these the right door handles for my 59 beetle?

I got myself a 1959 beetle, and I want to keep it all original, so I want to know if this, http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=2nswe54&s=4 is original to my year.

Don't think so.  Think they were more of a flip handle  (one end connected and the other end free of the body and you pulled on the handle and it pulled away from the door and sprang back again.)  I don't know another name for it.
