Question:

Are these the signs of vocal cord damage and do you think I could sue over it??

I had a surgery last year, and since then I have noticed some changes in my singing voice. It cracks and I have virtually no staying power when I sing in the center of my range (which is where I believe the damage was done).

All of this really s*cks since the surgery was of a necessary but voluntary nature. If someone had told me this might happen, I would have handled it differently, i.e. let them know that I am singer and that my voice is a part of my identity, etc.

I want to sue, but I'm sure they had me sign a release with all the possible complications on it. Do you think I can still sue anyway?

  1. Best to see a lawyer for a consult..and research the surgery in question on-line ,

get as much info as you can, request copies of the hospital reports and see a lawyer-some do give free consults.
