  1. looks like she can carry 200 lbs. just dont make her work to hard

  2. Looks like she could carry that much. It also depeneds on thing like, does she have a sour back or leg problems, but she looks like she's in good shape. So Yes.

  3. Your horse is so cute! Out of a QH, morgan, and arabian I would say the strongest would be the QH. Then the Arab would be the weakest and the morgan is in the middle. Your horse looks very stong indeed. my dad weighs about 200 pounds and he rides my QH. It should be fine but dont do more than a light walk/trot and maybe a little lope.

  4. Morgans and quarter horses are strong, but arabs are not. If she is a small horse (i.e. under 15hh) then I would not let your uncle ride her. You could cause her to strain her back.

  5. Both the quarter horse and the arabian are very strong breeds.  Depending on what you want for your discipline.  The arabian is a very strong endurance horse.  Morgans are small but nice animals.

I think your mare would have some trouble unless you put some weight on her.  She looks kind of skinny.  Otherwise very cute.

  6. The mare looks to have some age on her.  The dip behind her prominent withers  suggests age.  She's a bit long in the back and looks weak in the coupling.

No one breed stands out about her.  She could probably handle it, slow and easy.

  7. 20% of their weight is acceptable. She is probably 1100-1200lbs from her looks. She can carry him but I wouldnt try it for long rides or over fences.

  8. A quarter horse would be the strongest. Their body dtructure is very masculine.

The horse may be able to ride the horse if he was gentle and didn't push him/her too hard. I'd say that it would be best not to llet him ride the horse.

  9. How tall is she? Is she in shape? If she is over 14.2hh and in shape I am positive she will be fine ^^ If she seems like she is having trouble carring his weight then get him off imediatlly...but she should be fine xD

Oh, and btw on average all three (QH, Arab, and Morgan) are probley the strongest horses other than drafts...

  10. You would be surprised at the strength in these animals. She should have no problem carrying a 200 lb anything. She is beautiful and looks to have strong legs and a nice back. Let him enjoy the ride, cause I'm sure she gives one heck of a ride.

  11. the quarter horse is good for short distance but great for an all around

    the Morgan good in between

    Arabian great for endurance

  12. I agree she doesn't look Morgan. & Just for someone of these peoples info Morgans are stronger. They were bred for logging & working in the farm without the size of the draft horse. They are bred for carriage & pulling.

  13. Yes they are strong horses within their own breed and if crossed they would acquire good characteristics from the other breed. Your horse is a lovely big strong animal no problem carrying 200 pounds there.

  14. I do not think your mare has morgan she has none of the distinctive morgan characteristics, but because she is probably a cross she may have some.  She can easily carry 200 lbs.  No problem for her.

  15. Well if the arab is either a spanish barb or a polish arab, they are a bit larger muscled and boned. A good QH will be able to hold 200lbs easy same with a Morgan.

I am 235lbs and I train QH's and they carry me fine. And I do long rides, I often spend 6-10 hours a day horseback.

    Luck

  16. Those breeds are relatively strong, quater and morgan being the two strongest.

Depending on the age and condition of your horse, she looks strong enough to carry him around an arena. Lots of it also depends on your horse - I have known a few part-drafts to shy away if it's not a child riding them. I'd say give him a shot,, have him lean across her back while you lead her around in a small pen. That way if she's uncomfortable he can safely slide off.
