Are these three names Rosalie, Sophie, and Sophia French?

I'm writing a book about a French girl, in the Victorian times, and want an accurate French name. Which is more common in France? Sophie, or Sophia? And it's spelled with an 'f', right? (I take French). And Rosalie is a French name, isn't it? Thanks:) xxxxx

    Rosalie and Sophie are French, with these spellings.

    Sophia is not.

  4. Sophie is the french form of Sophia...  I don't know about Rosalie, but I'm pretty sure it isn't french; I know Sophia isn't.

  7. I don't think I've ever seen them used as French names, to be honest. If I had to choose one though I'd pick Sophie.

    I'd suggest Renee, Vivienne, etc.
