Are these type of eyes common in any specific ethnicity?

Question

Wikipedia has a picture of my color eyes and say that they are commonly misidentified as hazel but are really just mixed colors. A lot of my family has this eye color and our ethnic background is mainly English/Welsh/Irish.

Is this type of eye color common in people with that ethnic background?

its strange because i no wht your saying.i have blue eyes and so does my husband and one of my daughters but the youngest ones eyes are like yours.i look at them and cant decide what colour they are.they seem mixed.we are english but my grandad was polish and somebody once said i had irish eyes.strange

Probably find your eye coloring in many different ethnicities.

Your eye color has to do with your ancestors.. but it does NOT have anything to do with nationality or ethnicity.
