  1. There are REAL ones that are also international.  Expecting there to be an internet business regulatory body to monitor on line home based businesses would require that ALL countries agree on all points..  Don't mean to sound negative here, but that would be a VERY TALL order, though I'd love to see it myself.

There are too many scams on the internet with thousands more popping up everyday... IT IS HARD to tell a good one from a bad one.

I'm putting a link in the resource section which is the only place we are actually allowed to post links (according to the Yahoo Answers Terms of Service).  It's a generic blog on information that might help you in your quest...

  2. Hi israel,

I'm in a Home Business.  I spent 3 intensive months researching all that I could about what was involved, what to look for as well as what to look out for.  Being an offline Entrepreneur (12+ years) was helpful in me making what I believe to be the right Home BizOp choice (which does run internationally).  I hope you don't mind but I will refrain from "plugging" my company.  You or anyone who wants to know more can always contact me and I'll be happy to share more.

As some have already mentioned, there are some legitimate home businesses and some not so legitimate.  I've tried to outline below things to consider that may help you weed out the riff-raff :-)

The Company I chose provided FREE access to their opportunity so that I was able to  check them out and determine if this was really the right fit for me.  For over 3 months I attended weekly online training classes in marketing for free and also learned more about a number of useful business products that they had.  I picked up some wonderful strategies that I was able to use for my offline business that resulted in tripling our customer base and improving communication with prospects who later became customers.  A short time after that I decided that this was the type of Home BizOp that I wanted to join.

In my experience, I would go with a company that is established in their industry, has a solid, steady track record of growth based on sound leadership from company owners, associates etc.

As an offline (and now online) entrepreneur I can tell you that you should always expect there to be some type of start up cost involved.  Comparing the two I can tell you that the start up costs for my offline business were considerably way more than I invested in my Home BizOp.  And while the money my offline business brings in is good, it can only do so during certain hours of operation -- another reason why I'm a big fan of the Home Biz industry.

You should also keep in mind that as an entrepreneur (business owner) you will likely have monthly expenses that are vital to the continued growth and success of your business, offline or online.

Additional Benefits you should look for in a reputable Home BizOp:

**Fully operational turn-key business (including the necessary tools, equipment, training, support, etc for your success)

** No hidden fees (in other words, the things mentioned about should come with your initial investment).

**Company owners available /reachable if you need to consult with them or have questions.

    ** a relevant in-demand product/service

One last bit of advice, and this holds true of all business ventures especially Home BizOps.  Make sure you know why you want to get into this industry.  What are your expectations?  Why?  Do you have any experience in this type of field or in business in general?  Are you self-motivated?  Are you dedicated?  Are you teachable and willing to learn?  Hopefully you get the idea :-)

Definitely take some time and honestly assess the questions above.  There are no right and wrong answers, but you answers will reveal if you are truly suited for this field.  These are things I discuss with people who contact me about my Home BizOp and I never sponsor anyone who does not meet my criteria.  That just does them and the industry a huge disservice.

All said, I wish you the best in doing your "due diligence".  In my opinion, the Home Business industry is among the best 21st century career choices that is still "untapped".

PS -- my reply ended up being waaaay longer than I expected it too.... Sorry :-S

  4. MyShoppingGenie is already in 30 countries so yes it is international.  Most definetly not a scam I have received a check.

I am a titanium powerseller on Ebay to give you a little background so you know I am legit and know what I am talking about. There is a new business opportunity that just started a couple of months ago but has been in the works for over 3 years. It works with Ebay so you know it is legit. Ebay is a multi Billion dollar business and you now have the opportunity to be apart of that. Doesn't cost much like a lot of home businesses only $29 per month. You earn up to $35 per new customer and up to 75% in commissions from Ebay just by giving out Free software. When they use the software your Ebay affiliate ID is embedded in the software and you get the commission - 100% of it. Plus 5 more ways to make money. http://www.mymarketinggenie.com/ultimate...

I see this as being one of the next big home businesses since it is one of the first that uses Ebay. Most home businesses only last a couple of years but with the backing of Ebay I don't see how anyone wouldn't join this opportunity. I am already doing well making more money than the $29 so already in profit. I am a titanium powerseller so I let everyone know about the new free software and then I get paid anytime they buy something from Ebay even if it isn't from me. Here is the free software so you can check it out: http://www.myshoppinggenie.com/ultimatep...

Amazon and Overstock have now heard about the MyShoppingGenie and are working on an affiliate program just so they can be apart of this too. Now can you start too see the power, technology, income potential with MyShoppingGenie - Ebay, Amazon, and Overstock does?

  5. Most work at home schemes are scams.  Before you consider any of them, check out what the Postal Inspection Service has to say about them…  http://postalinspectors.uspis.gov/radDoc...

There are no internet regulatory bodies, either domestic or internationally, to oversee any of the work at home schemes.  Too many different countries and different laws.
