Are they aloud to do that???

I need day care for my 2 year old daughter and the place i tried to sign her up for day care at this one place but they said that i couldn't because im only 16. Are they aloud to do that?

That is wrong they are discriminating you and your daughter on account of your age.  Look at it this way if they are going to be like that do you really want your child attending there?  It is their loss.  It is also breaching your childs right to an education they have to provide a service to you.

  3. its illegal to give a child over to anyone under 18 in nurseries. but if u are the mother im not sure what the rules would be

  4. They probably need someone over 18 to sign a "care contract".  It sounds reasonable because they have legal liability and you're not a "contractable" person.

  5. they are allowed to do that, they need to sign a contract, get your mom or dad to go with you so they can sign.

  6. Usually they are ALLOWED to do whatever the provider guidlines say they can. Such is the fact that you are 16 and not an adult, you probably can't enter into their contract since they require an adults signature. Find a daycare through your church or your guidance councelor at school might be able to send you in the right direction.
