Question:

Are they checking passports on any kind of transport from ireland to England? Think my 6 months visa is over?

but I must go back cause flight back to my country is from there.. Does anyone know for sure if they chack passports and visas on both Belfast and Dublin crossings? flight/ferries?

  1. You have broken the law, are now an illegal immigrant and are expecting a truthful answer from Y!A? .......... I really wouldn't like to be in your shoes right now (6 days I could understand, but 6 months..........)

    Anyway, if you were an EU/EEA passport holder, you would not necessarily need a passport but you would need a form of ID with a photo - either ID card or driving licence from one of these countries.  However if you are non-EU/EEA then a domestic ID card/driving licence will not be accepted, so yes you will need your passport for both ferry and flights on all routes.
