Are they mixed with the same breed?

Question

My dog and his sister are in the same litter but I know they are Half Lab.

But they look different.My dogs other sister has rottie in her too but the other litter mates I can't see the rottie in them.

Is it possible that they have a different breed in them?

it is very possible for litter mates of the same parents to look completely different from each other when they are mixes, as you can never really determine how mixes will look.

I think that they have enough similarities that they share the same sire (father).  It is possible for a female dog to have a litter that is comprised of more than one sire.  But it is normal for crossbreed/mutt litter mates that share the same dam and sire to look completely different from each other.   They may not even look like their parents. There are many genetic variables in crossbreeds or mutts and you just never know who is going to look like what/who?

More then 1 male can sire a litter...so it is possible that they do have different breeds mixed in them

no they definitely DO look alike.  Coat coloration varies from pup to pup and 1 litter could have a few browns, a few yellows, a chocolate and a brindle or something... it doesnt matter the coat color, they definitely are the same breeds- that much is easy to tell just by looking at their faces!

They actually really look like they could have been some type of lab (probably yellow) and Finnish Spitz.

Depends on how many dogs the mother tied with.  She could mated with four or five different breeds of dog, or she could have tied with a dog that had several mixed breeds in him and now one of the breeds is showing more predominantly than the other.  If the breeding wasn't on purpose with a purebred dog and she got with a mixed breed then who knows for sure what the dogs are.

i would say they have the same dad.
