if the bowler bowls. the batter hits it straight at him . he catches it and throws it straight at the other batters stumps cos hes not in the crease. is he out aswell?

  1. The ball is dead as soon as a batsman is dismissed. It specifies that in Law 23.

    Once the first batsmen has been caught & bowled, the ball is called dead, meaning that 2 batsmen can't be out in one single delivery. So the first batsmen would be out caught & bowled. Even if the bowler gets the other batsmen out run-out, it wouldnt matter because the ball is dead!
