I would hope that it is just media reporting rather than truth. I did read in the Sunday papers that they are no longer allowed 'mens mags' or topless posters on their walls due to WH SMith no longer stocking them. Prison staff used to allow certain mags if they were stocked by the retailer. Now they are no longer allowed to have them since they are not sold there ha ha

yes they give you a t.v for a pound a week but your family need to hand in your computer

Yes they are alloud to have playstation BUT NOT A playstation 2 or 3. For the reason that with playstation 1 and 2 it is possible to make weapons and it is on with the origional playstations. I know this for a fact because i took a tour of a maximum security prision and they explained it all

YES there are allowed ps1's they can have a cd player, movies, they can even have their done by in a hairdressers, they have hairdresser/babers there who will teach prisoners new skills! they can get magazines they can put in an order once a week to the local newsagents for stuff! they can even buy stuff to furnish their cells!  to get these things they have to have money which they use, to get that they get a wage for jobs they do in prison, ie: cleaning, laundry, toymaking, cooking the list is endless.... So its no wonder some people dont see it as a punishment is it?

its a bloody holiday camp! i have my room booked for next year lol. i forgot to mention in an open prison some prisoner can have a key to the cell door!!!!!!

i hope not, some people are already to weird and if they are allowed to get their brain even more damaged by games.....cant imagine the consequences !!

I wouldn't doubt it! They have tv, 3 meals a day, no work if they don't want to. that makes me sooo angry. I could write a book on this but time wouldnt permit.
