Are they really animal lovers?

Have you noticed that the people who claim to love animals are the same ones who keep animals in captivity?

Sort of. My brother says he loves animals a lot (and he does) but he enjoys seeing dead animals and eats meat and wants to be a taxidermist. My best friend is very protective of animals and loves them a lot, but she eats meat. Sometimes people think they are helping by keeping animals captive.

yea but you have got to look it at that person's view of the idea. they probably do that so they can feel that their animal is protected. otherwise their just crazy. that is just my take in it

Yes. And if they were really animal lovers they would let animals live on their own and go to the zoo every once and a while.

The animals people have for pets have been domesticated and they might not be able to survive if you set them free.

not necessarily "wild caught" ones, but the ones born in captivity.
