so i heard in school that Alabama was changing their driving age from 16 to 18. rumors get started almost everyday, so this could be just another rumor. i also heard that if you were born in 1994 or below that (1993,1992,1991,ect..) that this rule did not apply to you. so i'd be fine, but my brother wouldnt. and trust me, i do NOT want to be driving him and his buddies around everywhere.

could somewon please tell me if this is true or not?

  1. if there isn't already one in alabama, they could be implementing a graduated licensing program... for instance, here in virginia, you're eligible to get your permit at 15 and a half, your license at 16 and 3 months, but you have to fulfill requirements like drivers ed and behind the wheel, and then can only drive one other teenager(siblings don't count), and not between midnight and 4 AM. after you've had it for a year, you can then drive up to 3 other teenagers, and when you turn 18 you get your "full license", meaning you can drive as many people as your car will hold, whenever you want.
