Are they rebuilding the Singapore National Stadium?

Whatever happen to the old Stadium?Why did they tear it down?Are they coming up with a new one?

the old stadium is really old,

besides, singapore has to get ready for the youth olympics in 2010 so it's supposed to be done by then :D

They are trying to remodel it to make it nicer:}

But I personally prefer the old stadium:)

It holds a lot of memories for us fellow singaporeans(:

Opened in July 1973,the National Stadium was officially closed on 30 June 2007 & will be demolished in late 2008 to make way for the Singapore Sports Hub which is expected to open in 2011.
