Are they stopping games for PS2 because i don't want to have to buy a 360 because im cheap like that

no they aren't totally stopping the making of games for ps2, old Xbox but the newer games( like COD 4) are only made for HD consoles like PS3 and 360. Ea sports games for ps2 are now only 30.00 or $40.00 when the come out new because they are not as good anymore. Like when the ps2 came out and ps1 games went cheap. same thing give it 5 years and ps2 games wil b done

No they ar3 not. It will be a while untill they stop ps2 games for good because they are still getting great money. My option to u is to just dont buy xbox 360. It is not so great. Many things go wrong with it but is better made thane regular xbox was.

Keep ps2 they still making (So-So) good games since ps3 took over

They PS2 will be going strong for another 3 years at least i would expect. There is a ridiculous number of PS2 owners out there, so there's no way they'll stop support. One thing to bear in mind however is that Sony weill be pushing people to buy the PS3, the way Microsoft got Xbox'ers on to the 360 was by discontinuing the Xbox (no more units produced and no more games) so i reckon this will be in the back of Sony's mind. Still in the 3 years time you can expect the 360 and the PS3 to be pretty cheap, especially at the rate technology is advancing atm.

of course not. they it's going to be a long time before ps3's are household items. and they know that everyone has ps2. so it'll be a long time before they stop it.

The last PS2 game will be released in 2009. As for COD4 - it's too heavy for PS2.
