And if anyone replies "use google or yahoo search" i am going to bitchslap them

  1. Hvac-talk is the best one out there. You can put your website info in your profile and if someone clicks on your name where you have posted, a drop box will appear and one of the choices is "Visit username's homepage"

They do it that way to keep the spam bots from crawling the site.

Hvac-talk is not a DIY site. Home owners can ask general questions there. If something is actually requiring a mechanical repair, the usual response will be to "call a pro"

  2. First of all, U can attend classes given by Howard indust. they are for people who's pre-license and needs update.  Besides, handyman can only clean the units.  It is beyond the scope of their capability.   Only licensed HVAC personnel should do repairs on any units.  Liability issues.  On that last statement of urs...How u gonna get any help?  Try that on a service personnel, and u gonna get a 3' s***w driver up urs.

  3. Looking for a free way to advertise?

HVAC-TALK has so few home owner visits from any one geographical area that would be a waste. Also they have the "FREE" area and the paid member area. The homeowner area is relatively small compared to the paid area where all the techs hang out.
