Are things going to get worse for Gen' Y when it comes to relationships?

The way I see it, people born after 1980, people in those relationships are breaking up. Is it going to get much worse? I mean these days, girls get with guys hoping they could change them, and guys are getting with girls just for s*x.

I'm in Gen' Y and I tend to avoid relationships because I fear if I was with a girl, she might be a gold digger, one who wants children (I'm the opposite), a woman trying to change me, and she might make false accusations to the law. That's what I'm afraid of.

So are things going to get worse for Gen' Y when it comes to relationships? When it comes to relationships, are young people (mostly women) going to much worse in the future?

I really think so. I fear for my own generation and I'm like 15. It seems like all 'y' wants to do is just have random s*x. I don't know when or how that happened but u don't see much committed relationships anymore.

That is a very sexist and offensive interrogative.  I guess that's why you think things are going badly.  You perpetuate your own ideations by your own words.  Can you find a better way of stating your question?

The media tries to label that which it can't control.  By calling you gen Y, it is trying to control what you spend on, whom you date, and what you watch on TV even!  That gives the media more power, because if they can cause fear in you to do certain things, they get ratings on TV and more viewers.

My suggestion is don't buy into Gen anything.  Be yourself and you will find women who think and feel the same as you do.  Watching a lot of TV helps encourage the media driven storm that rampages society.  Remember just last summer when doom was coming and now gas prices have fallen, so maybe doom wasn't just yet.

The media is the biggest reason why fads happen, just look at the home situation.  Homes were the most expensive ever and the media was saying buy now or people will never get a home again.  Now is when homes should be bought, when they are low.  Now many people are hating the fact that they bought a home then.

Think for yourself, you will find many women who will enjoy hearing your opinions.
