  1. i heard they were,

but you know, you can never really be sure til you ask your doctor or someone who knows what they're talking about.

    :]

  2. no they are alot better than energy drinks like monster or red bull cuz u dont crash later. they r just a nice boost of energy

  3. well too much of an energy drink can kill you,

"Around the USA, the drinks have been linked with reports of nausea, abnormal heart rhythms and emergency room visits. [1]

Energy drinks may cause seizures in those who suffer from certain forms of epilepsy due to the "crash" following the energy high that occurs after consumption.[4] France banned the popular energy drink Red Bull after the death of eighteen-year-old athlete Ross Cooney, who died after he played a basketball game after consuming four cans of the drink.[5] The French Scientific Committee (J.D. Birkel) concluded that Red Bull has excessive amounts of caffeine.[5] Denmark also banned Red Bull. Britain investigated the drink, but only issued a warning against its use by pregnant women.[5]" - Wikipedia

  4. most energy drinks are very hard on you.  It gives you the mental rush of energy and no calories to burn; also, horrible for your teeth.

Edit: No naturally-healthy calories (like you would get from a balanced diet with fruits/veggies/meat/dairy/bread/pasta/.....

  5. Yes, and yes-er.

  6. if I were you i would never touch any energy drink at all. instead I would ask your doctor for prescription drugs or possible reasons why you are out of energy. I did and it made all the difference in the world.

  7. Can be. They have alot of carbs

  8. They make me crazy. At least that's what people tell me.

  9. Yes, very bad.

  10. yes a lot of sugar and they make you crash.

  11. Depends, some have LOTS of calories. And too much sugar i think you should go with energy drinks that aren't loaded with only sugar and caffeine like Monster and Red Bull maybe try 5 hour energy.

  12. i found this.

  13. evetually they will mess with ur imunnity system

  14. They are pretty bad for you. They have a lot of sugar and cafine. They also dehydrate you which is bad for your skin. It's really just not natural. lol I'm not sure what's with the thumbs down. This is not an opinion question but oh well.

  15. No

They took the calories, sugar and excess caffeine out and replaced it with B vitamins which are needed for energy. Despite the fact that they are healthy energy drinks we still should not have more than 2 a day.

XS Energy, the pioneers of healthy energy drinks, recommend this. They started 6 years ago and now has spawned the 5 and 6 hour variations that are in stores.

Moderation is always good. Even if the stuff being consumed is good for you and especially when it is not, like with regular energy drinks and sodas.

  16. Okay have the people answering this question are morons. You are talking about those 5 hour energy shots right? They only have 4 calories and no sugar/carbs. its very low caffeine and it is spiked on vitamins. So they can be good but you NEED to drink a lot of water with them because they are like any other vitamin.

  17. They say that they're not, but there have been studies done recently that show that energy drinks in general are not healthy. This could be because of the circumstances of someone taking an energy drink (pumping their body with excess amounts of energy, sugar, and caffeine, while not getting any sleep), but a lot of it also has to do with how jammed-pack all of those drinks are of just c**p. Even the ones that say they are natural or sugar-free are still horrible for you. This would be an interesting article for you to read:

  18. I don't think so. They are LOADED with B vitamins which is what keeps you awake. I could be wrong though.

  19. Not bad for your health as long as you burn the calories, as for being bad for your wallet....

(Haha those are so bloody expensive!)

  20. Nope!
