I have recently seen a lot of adds on websites, addvertising free surveys which you can get paid to do online. Has anyone done this before and is it safe?

  1. Some are!! The website I use is pretty legit. You don't have to compromise your identity or try anything. You just have to do as it says.

If it says "participate in a survey", you just have to participate in the survey. Once the survey is done, you can quit the website, even if the website asks you to give some of your personal info. You don't have to fill out that part to receive money. That's why I like it.

Here's the link... copy and paste it onto your URL browser...

    www.cash crate.com/677352

*put in the URL without the space between cash and crate*

You just have to be 13 or older!! And it’s nice since it pays you by check not by paypal/gift card/credit card like other online survey website, unless you want it to.

I've already made $15 just this week and have another $55 pending. They pay out every month after you reach the minimum payout of $10

But you get to set the minimum payout. I chose $15 and they just sent me a check yesterday for $15.44. I didn't think it would work but when that check came in the mail, I started to believe it!! :)))

Further Proof that cashcrate is not a scam:

  2. Many of them are.  Does it pay to spend so much of your time for such a small return?  Not to me.  You'll earn more working for a fast food joint.  If you're looking for work at home, look into medical transcription.  Not through a ripoff - get on Usenet - that's newsgroups (even use Google Groups if you have no other way) and start reading sci.med.transcription, and talking to some of the folks there (they earn their livings doing it).  Most of them are glad to help a newcomer, and this is a friendship thing, no money.

  3. There are a lot of scams out there, so be careful. There are a few sites that I have used for a while now and have gotten paid by. The good sites won't charge you to join and don't make you complete "special offers" but just ask you to take surveys. They will usually pay around $1-$5 and up to $15 per survey, and up to around $50 a month per site. Each survey takes between 5 and 40 minutes, and you usually get paid within a few weeks either by check or paypal.

The sites that I use are SurveySavvy and Opinion Outpost, along with several others. There are a bunch of reviews at http://www.earnontheside.com/?page_id=13 , Just remember, if a site wants your credit card.... then it is a scam.

  4. no... i don't think that they are safe.

  5. Yes,

    You can also try this

  6. No,

    don't trust those adds.

  7. I am a member of well over 20 survey sites.  As long as you don't pay to join their site you really have nothing to lose.  My favorite site that will barely send you any e-mails and no spam is Survey Savvy.

  8. No.

And you have to give plenty of personal info (SS number, mothers maiden name ,all that good stuff), and sometime even pay for other things to get the reward.

  9. I've done them. Im currently with cashcrate because they have received a lot of good revues.  It is safe. Surveys are there because companies need input on their products as well as accurate information on consumers so they know what products to put out or how to improve products or how consumers like their current products.

  10. Short Answer: Most are NOT safe.

    HOWEVER,

There are a handful of sites out there that really do pay you to do surveys. In my spare time I wade through the piles of junk and spam sites and test them all, seeing which are legit and which are not. I've been keeping a collection on a blog for others to view, to protect people from being scammed.

If you would like a list of the legit sites (I only consider them legit if they've actually paid me cash at least once) then please visit my small blog at http://freelegitcash.blogspot.com/

Of all the places I've tried, a place called CashCrate ( you can access it from the above blog, as well as read my review) has by far been the best. Its the one I frequent daily and average about $150 a month from. Sure, it wont get you rich, but when you're doing 4 or 5 of these sites all at once, you get pretty decent extra cash.

  11. Hi there,

Some aren't safe at all no.. However -

You can get paid for surveys, and the most famous and well-respected site is at: http://tinyurl.com/6ofunc

Easy to each payout, loads of cool surveys to do, and a fun and quick way to make money online!!

If you want to earn money by simply using a search engine --

    MyHomepageFriends -

    http://www.myhpf.co.uk/apply001.asp?Frie...

    Accepts worldwide members!

Basically, you sign up, and use the search engine (which is yahoo), and for every search you make, the site makes 5p, and gives you 2p for this.. Now this probably doesn't seem like very much! But if you're making 50 searches a day, that's a pound a day and then - 30 quid a month! Plus, you get 1p per search of every friend you let know about the site.. So i guess it works like this (if I'm right hehe, been calculating this myself to see how much i'm due this month)

    50 searches a day - £1... Monthly: £30

    You refer 10 people who make 50 searches a day (you get 10% i think) - 10p from each -- another £1 a day...

So that's £30 from yourself, and £30 made from you're referral links (great if you have a blog or a small website to advertise from, to get some referrals)... And they will pay you out once you've reached £20! You also get paid 5% for anyone you're friends refer, you can check all the stats online, i've made 90p from my cousin alone so far in a few days hehe!

Works well and pays you by paypal/cheque/credit card (i think maybe bank account transfer too, but definitely paypal!).. It's not a lot, but an opportunity to maybe make an extra £50-£100 a month for doing nothing other than what you probably already do in google - search the web! You can also check your balance at any time so you know how much you've earned and how much you've gainedd from you're friends earnings!

Check it out, and let me know how you get on :) Msg me if you want any advice about it, i've been a member for a while now : )
