  1. well I am an American so I do not follow the '"royals'" as you call them or  British national pets as we call them over here that close but I can guarantee you that at the next parade they will be in full uniform.

  2. I'm offended by that remark.  Harry asked to go into active service, but was refused as he would be a target, no doubt.  He did, however, train with his unit in Canada and would love to see some action.  All of the Royal family (with the exception of Edward) have been in the service - how's that rank against your family???????

  3. harry asked to go  & if it was not for the media telling the enemy that he was going he would have gone he has balls which i gues you dont have

  4. At least they asked to go on active service. I do not see you risking your backside in anything other than a nightclub cat brawl.

Leave the lads alone unless you or your family can do better.

  5. Having served 20 years, I think it's a farce to wear a warrior's uniform and bear a warrior's grade if one is forbidden to deploy.  Had they any honor, they'd have resigned on the spot.

They still hold their commissions, to answer your question.

  6. Hang on a second here.  You have offended me.  They are not bullet dodgers, they were never out of the army. They were not sent to the war not because of who they are or don't you ever watch the news.  The reason they were not sent to the wars is because they would be a prime target for the enemy and for the safety of their units they were not allowed to go.  Do you think it would be a good idea for a whole unit of men to get killed because they are targeting someone from the royal family???????????

  7. How about your Commander in Chief doing some front line work? I remember he was at home in the National Gaurd. Or maybe his daughters could join the Canadian army in Afghanistan. In Canada, women can be in combat roles, unfortunately already with a fatal consequence.

Harry was not sent because his unit would become a huge bulls eye, putting his comrades at risk. His uncle Andrew served actively in the Falklands and his gr gr Uncle Mountbatten was a war hero who died by terrorism...or freedom fighting, which ever way you look at it.

I have long held that before a country goes to war the politicians kids should be first in the front line. I think negotiations would be more effective then.
