Are those websites where u can get free money real?

Question

I found a few websites where u get free money for doing reviews and stuff are they fake? is there a catch?

coz I just don't get it why would someone pay u for doing

practically NOTHING?

many of them are not real. Here's what you shouldn't do:

1. you shouldn't give out personal information unless you are sure it's legit

2. you should not give them any money (why pay them if they're there to pay you?)

3. you should not give them bank or credit card information

i usually don't trust these sites. i fill out surveys online and i use globaltestmarket.com. all you have to do is give them your name and address, so they'll know where to send your check. they email you surveys when they are available and if you qualify and complete the survey (no more than 15 minutes usually) you can get paid between 40-75 marketpoints per survey (their equivalent of $2-$4). you can redeem your money after you accumulate 1000 points ($50). I've been using this site for about a year, I've redeemed my points on several occasions and  I've cashed the check. I've had no problem (the checks always worked, they never ripped me off). that's the only site that I trust right now. all you have to do is fill out surveys

ADDITIONAL DETAILS: these people aren't paying you to do nothing for the surveys. because the surveys are used to help determine how they can improve certain products and some companies are paying survey and review sites to pay other people for their opinion. So these sites don't pay you for nothing (because they get paid for your opinion on making certain products better).
