Are tier 3 Universities bad? ?

I am currently looking for colleges to apply to, and there are a few colleges that I like that are classified as tier 3 colleges. I want to go to a college where the quality of education is high. Would I be making a mistake to apply to a tier 3 college?

    2.Top 15 college newspaper-Princeton Review

    3.First college in the world to introduce an bachelors degree of biometric science.

    4.Nationally recognized forensic science program.

    5.Listed as one of the best south eastern schools in the USA.-Princeton Review

    We are considerd 3rd tier by US News&World Report. And we have alot to offer.

    There are alot of tier 3 schools that will give you a great education if taken seriously. Good luck on choosing a school.
