I'm wondering if my pet salamander would appreciate a terrarium-mate, or prefer to be alone. Can't seem to find a clear answer to this on websites I've checked.

  1. Even tho they are solitary creatures in the wild i know plenty of people who keep tiger sals together with success just make sure there's enough room and there isnt an overly dominate one and it should be fine

  2. tiger is a bit solitary animal, they socialize also with a pack of their own kind.

while wild salamanders are nocturnal animals that are active at night, because they feed on insects, uses also their sticky tongue like frog and tend to live their youngs in early stage after hatching them off. unlike crocodile salamanders can crawl steep. anyone put in cage tend to be lonesome hence you said, get a mae.
