I had someone approach and tell me about trade lines and some other number for my business. He said that i could use this new number as a social security number as well as adding trade lines to it. Is this legal? I'm sorry I cannot think of what he said this new 9 digit number is called.

  1. It's called a TIN and stands for taxpayer identification number and no what they told you you can do is not legal.

  2. They are legal - see the source website before scoffing and discarding my words.  Don't mess with the TIN alternate number.  Use tradeline programs to boost your own score.  ) I would add a tradeline program to boost your score quickly (60 days or quite possibly less). A friend in California used this and got a 120 point bump from 560 to 680. There has been a lot of disinformation by Experian saying these authorized user programs do not work. Check out the source news link for an article from July 30th that has them admitting it still exists. My friend in California went through www.totaldebtsolutionsllc.com and filled out their free evaluation form to get the ball rolling. Good luck.
