do trees dies of natural causes, not disease or being blown over, but do they die of old age?

  1. No, trees are not immortal.


    However,  many species of  trees live for a long period of time. They live for hundreds of years, produce new branches and continue to grow but they are not immortal.


  2. we don't say they are immortal, the old trees produce new branches these branches continue to grow, the old one dies .

    as we can see in Banana trees, palm trees . a new growth starts to appear in the base of the main trunk, continue growing the old one decays gradually til it dies.
