  1. Truffles are very hard to find as they need special conditions to grow.

  2. Since we have no way of knowing what you might or might not like, here is some more info, in case you decide to give them a try;

  3. I am a former chef and have used both the black and white varieties in many forms, and in some countrys they are quite pricey, I have a jar of black Italian summer truffles in my pantry now and I paid $20 Can here in Toronto Canada.

    You can find things like truffle oils, pastes and I have bought rice from Italy scented with a slice of white truffle in the jar, and you can keep adding rice as the aroma never fades, it is like onions and garlic once in it never leaves.

    I have used the French, Italian, American, Chinese and Syrian ones in dishes at some of the restaurants/hotels I was a sous chef in, they are pricey, but if you ever get the opportunity to try some or something with them in the dish, do it, like most things it is an experience to remember.

  4. No, ive had better out of a hershey bar. Honestly 500 for something, its for show. Go eat a snickers for 69 cents.

  5. To be honest I dont think so. But if you dont wanna spend $500 just go to a french restaurant and ask for something that has truffles. That way youll at least know that it is properly cooked.
