    Docklands Light Railway is an integral part of the Transport for London network ... that's why it's shown on the tube map

Yep, its all part of the TFL network so prepaid and zone tickets are both valid.  Remember to "scan" your ticket in and out of the DLR, otherwise they'll charge you the maximum fare £4 for every trip you make (unlike the tube, the DLR does not have gates you scan in and out of... you just walk into the station and have to find a machine to validate your ticket)
