turkeys are very smart for birds.

idk but my buddy has 11 turkeys that show up every morning for breakfast. he feeds them and they disappear for the rest of the day and return the next morning. they probably go for lunch and dinner elsewhere :-)

Wild turkeys are actually fairly intelligent. Turkeys that are raised for food however have been so selectively bread for size that most of the intelligence has been bread out. Maybe not dumb enough to drown in the rain, but pretty dumb.
