Question:

Are tv series on blu-ray dvd in 1080p or 1080i format?

Since there are no shows on tv in 1080p does that mean that the shows are originally in 1080p and are shown in 1080i to fit on tv or are they 1080i and are converted to 1080p for the blu ray dvd.

    The difference between them is huge when the video is playing, and they go for the best of the best.

    not 1080i but 1080p
