I am happy, although I would've liked to see Norman win it also. Harrington definitely deserved it after what he played through weatherwise.

As a 57 year old golfer I'd be a lot happier if Norman could have pulled it off - but Paddy shot the lowest number so he gets the prize and a job well done winning two Open Championships in a row.

why not...he shot the low score....the lowest score always wins the open.

sure, why not he played awesome considering the conditions, that shot on 17 was amazing and gutsy most would have played it safe and laid up. yeah it sucks that tiger wasnt there but there is no way of nowing how he would have played. seeing norman win it would have been cool too.

Why should anybody be unhappy?  He played great golf, beat his competitors fair and square and he acted like a true champion during his interviews.
