  1. You seem to have a thing about singers and Hannah.

You also have bad spelling and grammar.

You need to work at home school otherwise you will fail miserably at life and not even be able to work at McDonalds putting Big Macs together.

Cyrus is a BIG star with BIG buck and he got his little girl into a BIG BUCKS situations.

If YOUR parents aren't worth $1 million, you better study and do good in home school or you won't make more than $19K a year.

That is REALITY like it or not.

You and your parents are not millionaires.

You are not big honchoes in show biz.

You have to learn with being small and if you don't study you won't be able to even fill out a job application!

    That is reality.

    Like it or don't.

Mylie makes $200K a year minimum because of her family.

And she's an icon. you and I aren't.

That is reality, learn to live with it.

  2. well i was and skools better becuz u do more stuff your age n level and you have friends despite the uniforms

  3. No, not all homeschoolers do tests. Unschoolers, such as my family, won't do any testing. That is, not unless a particular child decides for themselves that they wish to take a specific test. We don't use a curriculum or syllabus or any lesson plans or have any compulsory subjects or follow a timetable or have our work graded by anyone or fret about passing/failing either.

The thing to remember is that there are as many (valid) ways to home educate as there are families doing it...and what many people refer to erroneously as 'homeschooling' is really distance education.

Hence you have to work out the details of what & how you will be studying with your own parents.

(We do however gain a working understanding of language, punctuation, spelling and grammar from choosing to do heaps of reading.)

  4. Homeschooling is really cool.

You can sleep in and get done way before anyone else

And the people who say homeschooling is bad haven't experienced it so they don't know.

We don't have recess because we get done early.

And we are much smarter than other kids our age.

And you can get books on thing you like like health, weather, geography, science etc etc etc.

The only annoying thing is a little less friends and everyone one asking you "No school today" when you go out.

I get friends from church, and other classes like dance or art or other things like that.

And at the end of the year we take a test.

The only thing that is hard to learn in homeschooling is spelling.

  5. NO I think its wrong to homaschool kids. They need to be out there with THE REST OF THE WORLD. Because one day they are going to grow up and have to go out there anyway. Y shelter them....that's creepy

  6. homeschooled is very coool. =] i am homeschooled. Each day i get up whenever i want. I do all my school and a couple of online classes. I rarely have homework. I don't have recess but I ocasionally take breaks. Do you mean spanish? I take Rosetta Stone-Spanish. If you are worried about your social status or if your a very social person and can't live about friends..and worry that you will not be as social w/ homeschooling don't worry!!!! Join a homeschooling group that is near you. You can usually find out about ones thru churches, searching the internet and other homeschooling resources. ALso, you can even get together with your friends to do your school together.  Yes, you DO take tests. Same as any normal school.  But the better thing is your usually alone so you can concentration better.

Best of luck to you love!  I've been homeschooled all my life and it's not that bad. I hope you really enjoy homeschooling. Try other activites too like swimming classes, gymnastics, orgami classes, art or pottery classes, or stuff like that. VERY FUN. =]

  7. my sister attended home school and she was just fine. but you might want to work on your spelling

  8. I agree...I think home schooling is a joke.  They did a study on this and they advised parents to not home school their kids becasue when they reach adult hood they go wild and most have been put in prison over it.  I think you should learn just like everyone else......Go to school, get the social atmosphere which in return teaches you social skills and home schoolers are lacking terribly with their social skills and how to adapt.

  9. I started homeschooling with an online school (Alpha Omega Academy) in September.

And if it wasn't so expensive, I'd love to do it until I graduate in 2010.  It's a work at your own pace school, so I could very well graduate a year early, if I stayed with it.

I had been in public schools for all my other years of schooling, and I've learned more this year than I ever did or would have at public school.

I normally wake up around 9am or 10am, get started about an hour later, take a break/lunch at 12pm, and I'm usually done by about 1pm to 2pm, depending on when I woke up.  I'm taking two math classes, English two, Spanish two, British literature, chemistry, history, and P.E.

    Good luck.

  11. DON'T listen to TIA. Some people are so ignorant and rude. Regular school is similar to being homeschooled...you just have lots of classmates and different teachers. Yes there ARE tests and 1 or 2 recesses. You'll get used to it and enjoy it! Good luck.

LIVE LIFE...she already SAID she was going to school. Pay attention. She's not asking WHAT DO YOU THINK OF HOMESCHOOLING? She's asking for advice.

  12. Yes, and I love it! But make sure you have lots of activities, that's why I have so many friends! Camp, piano parties, gymnastics, baby-sitting, cooking class, book club, comic book club, playwriting workshop, plus homework!

Every home-schooled kid is different but each one takes tests, yes, and you can choose to take a standardized test every year or once every few years.

  13. yep, I am

I get up at 7, start at 8, have a break at 10, lunch around 12, and usually finish between 4 and 5, but sometimes I have extra projects I need to work on. My classes are Bible, Enlgish, Government, Economics, Phys Ed, Keyboarding and Home Ec. I watch videos of a class room from a school in Florida.
