You need to conduct an external inspection of your abode to see if there are ANY places something could enter. It could be birds, squirrels or any number of other animals. Even if the walls are very thin, something is getting in. Once you do the inspection you need to feed the little squatter to draw it out or just seal the opening but that could get stinky.
