However, the Rosewell crash may have been a misdirected cover up of a top secret happenstance. I'd really wonder what the general said to the base commander:  "You said it was a WHAT? Are you out of your mind, Colonel? It is worst than admitting it was a top secret spy plane! We'll have all those alien-believers nut case and conspiracy theorists on our back for the next half century, if not more!"

There is no evidence that UFOs are the product or result of extraterrestrial life, although many commonly attribute them informally to that hypothetical cause.

The attribution of UFOs to space aliens is not primarily an activity of the government, but is rather being done by private citizens and organizations.  Ironically these people typically accuse the government of promoting non-alien explanations over their pro-alien ones.

There is a growing movement for the hypothesis that government allows rumors of space aliens to persist in order to create a sort of shadow threat that would motivate further exercise of power and restriction of freedom in the name of protecting against that threat.  However, there is as yet no evidence that any such measures have been taken or are contemplated, or that the government is promoting any such dire suspicion as an explanation for otherwise inexplicable phenomena.

UFOs are from aliens. I'm very interested in stuff like this and I did some digging. Some countries like the USA, Mexico and Canada, say that aliens aren't real. But others say they have UFOs in their custody. I found an article that states that Ireland has a UFO that had crashed in their country. But there also are USOs which are basically UFOs in the water. They come from aliens too. I don't know if the Ireland thing is true but I believe it.

I think the government knows all about UFOs , etc., etc.,

but doesn't tell us so we will be busy wondering about aliens, etc., etc., that they can do other crappy stuff that we won't notice.

It's sort of like the hand is quicker than the eye.

The government is sleazier than the aliens.
