Are under 18/16's allowed to run marathons?

Question

I am 15 years old, 16 in next few days, and have founded my own charity in which i give essentials to homeless people. I wish to raise funds by running a local marathon however im not sure if under 18's are allowed to do so?

unless you find a marathon which says entants can be under 18 then you aren't allowed i'm twelve and i've tried but no sucess
