I was overpaid unemployment benefits about 5 yrs ago.

I have settled at least 2 workers comp claims since then and never had a lien against my comp award for the overpaid unemployment benefits?

I know that at comp court, before the award is given,a check is done to see if any liens are owed, like child support, etc?

Are the unemployment benefits subject to a lien?

They never were taken before.

Im about to settle again in NJ comp court and want to know.
