  1. Not occurring naturally. There have been goats that been surgically altered to have the look of a unicorn. Barnum and Bailey Circus did this some years ago.

  2. sorry sir, they are not real.

  3. The person who rediscovered the unicorn is Oberon Zell Ravenheart.  He is a wizard and author.  I spoke with him at a book signing and asked him quite a few questions about them.  He is very open about how it is done and the unusual behavior and intelligence of these creatures.  His unicorn is of the caprine variety (goat).  There has not been any recorded success with the equestrian or bovine type that I know of.  The horns of a goat do not attach to the skull for the first two weeks.  These horn buds can be removed by a small incision and replaced into the center.  Oberon said the animal is aware of it's horn and the intelligence due to the change in skull shape is greater than that of the other goats.  I was interested in doing this with my goats but you cannot allow the goat in with other goats due to the danger if the unicorn butts the goats.  It is thought that the unicorns were used as guardians of the herds.  If it is one male I would assume it would not need to fight with the female and could do a bit of damage to a coyote, wolf or mountain lion.  Hope this clears things up.  Blessed be.

  4. Unicorns are not real, but there has been times when a horse had something on it's head when born that would make it look like a unicorn.  But that would still be considered a horse, instead of a new species.

  5. O-M-G are u serious????????? They're not real

  6. I think they might have existed ages ago, long before the Ice Age.  I used to believe in them when I was a child, and even movies like Legend make me want to believe in them again.  There is just something to giving yourself over to these sorts of legends that makes you appreciate life a little bit more.

For now, I'll just say that Unicorns are the ancestors of modern-day Horses!  I think there is even a story connected to this that suggest that when the last of the Unicorns lost its horn, it became a Horse.
