The problem with universals is the old metaphysical arguement of whether they actually exist. You must take the "nominalist" position that they do. Now you got the old problem of do they exist only in your mind or in your individuality. I think all things whether mind or matter or "romantic" in the broad sense. Hey, that's my answer and I'm stickin' to it.
