Becuase, i am from England and in england they are noo way as near as expensive as the ones in America.

In england they cost about £3,000 for a year and they dont vary much at all.

And in america they vary loads and can get as high as $40,000 a term, not even for a whole year!

So what is australia like with prices

  1. it depends what you call expensive i suppose!

  2. Around Aus$20000/year

  3. there are two types of course placements, commonwealth supported places, and domestic fee paying courses. the difference between the two being that the CSP place is mostly paid for by the aus government, so a course is on average about 5-6000 aus dollars pa. it varies depending on the demand for the profession. the domestic paying place is on average about 20,000 aus dollars a year, cause your paying for the full fee of the course. so say your doing a degree, some in that room would have paid 6000, and others 20000. to get into a CSP placement you need slightly higher marks to get into it, and seeing as though the government pays for most of the course, and give you the rest in a loan called HECS, i THINK you have to be an australian citizen. i say this because i know the international students in my course have to pay the full fee.

i honestly dont really knowif an international student can get into a CSP spot. also i know that international students need to directly apply to an institution
