Have you ever gone to school abroad and experienced an all around more difficult experience or higher standard of comprehension? If you have please be specific on the country. Thanks!!

  1. It's much more difficult learning in a foreign language, even if you speak it fluently. So unless the course is being taught in your native language, university will be far more difficult in a foreign country - even if the academic level of the subject matter is the same or lower than it would be at home.

  2. Every University is a foreign country to someone who comes from another country

I am teaching English in China and students here go to Australia to study, and yes, they will find it incredibly difficult because of their poor grasp of speaking and listening English.

You need to be able to listen to follow a lecture, and you need to be able to speak to ask questions about what you have heard..

So this is important..stay with your native language unless you are wanting to learn another language..is my advice
