Are vampires real????

This is no joke. A girl told me that she knew someone that was born a vampire. Serious answers only please.

Well, there is no guranteed that say Vampire doesn't exist ^_^ I say have an open mind and ask the girl to tell you who the "vampire" is.

If he isn't a vampire then I don't know who is.

Of course not, if there was such thing as vampires we would all be vampires now (vampire bites turn humans into vampires)

I am a vampire myself you see... the social exclusion is quite hard... People never wanna hang out with me when I go clubbing at night :(



It's like there is a stigma attached to being a vampire :(

yes they do...i know that it may sound crazy but i didn't know this for sure until a few months ago. i am not crazy or on any meds, or need a psych evaluation. i know 2 vamps (one is my fiance and the other is one of is best friends). vampires don't want to be known in the community. they don't want people to think that they are just crazy and are pretend...they are not. they are as real as us human are. they are not immortal, they don't burn up in the sun. they hate sun when exposed for like the whole day. the ones i know can eat garlic too, they have special powers..but so does everyone else (people just need to know what they can do and believe that they can do things) and also they can be around crucifixes..but they just get very uncomfortable...if people only could extend their minds.

maybe , maybe not.

like quite a few things nobody has proven they do or do not exist.

if they do, using real ninja as an example, a normal human would not know a vampire unless the vampire wanted that human to know.

personally i'd like to be changed into one.

humans are pretty weak as a species, but destructive.

I have never met one or seen any evidence for their existence.  But, I believe that all things are possible.  

I wouldn't be too gullible with what this girl told you, though.  You may find yourself feeling quite foolish if she is joking with you.

The tales of vampires are believed to have been given credence by the existence of a rare disease that causes extreme paleness of the skin, photosensitivity and anaemia. The sufferers would stay indoors during the day as sunlight caused burning of their skin. The pale faces coupled with a characteristic thinning of the lips (thereby making the teeth appear more prominent) and red colouration led to all sorts of tales being invented about them. The poor sufferers were routinely persecuted for what was actually a disease, not a curse.

With regard to your friend, if she really believes in vampires then I have some beachfront property in Birmingham she may be interested in...

Well in live in Australia and i know there is a cult of people who claim to be vampires (which is fine if thats who they are and want to be). Some do drink blood but only by donors (people who allow them and actually give them their blood) but there is always energy vampires who feed of the energy of others.

and the whole Vampire story was inspired by Elizabeth Bathory a countess who would bath in the blood of peasant girls (she believed it made her skin beautiful) and also based on Vladimir/Vlad the Impaler (not sure of the proper spelling so excuse that) He would put the heads of his 'enemies' of stakes

But as for the Fantasy of Dracula or lestat i am not sure, personally i dont know why i hope its true cause i wouldn't like to be sucked on by a vampire. But i do know their are people who say they are vampires and i think thats fine :)
