Question:

Are vegetarians and vegans really making a difference?

Often meat eaters criticise that me "might as well eat meat because even if you don't someone else will". They say just as many animals are being killed. Is this true? Are our efforts making little difference? If not, are we expected to eventually?

Please be adults about this. Immature, childish comments will be reported.

  1. I've been a vegetarian for two years now and I get no end of grief from my non veggie friends. It does make a difference because if some people stop eating meat then less will be bought from shops so they will buy in less and as a result less animals will be killed.
