Many veterinary clinics offer 24/7 availability (for emergencies, obviously) , and I think many are also open on Saturdays for non-urgent cases.

It really depends.

The vet who looks after my cat is open on Saturdays but then again, since there are 3 vets working in this vet clinic, they work in shifts for saturdays.

You need to find out beforehand from the vet if he/she is open on saturdays, and if he/she is not, then ask for a referral or at least an emergency ph. number for the weekends.
