  1. I am more tired of hearing the word "Change"?

  2. It doesn't matter what you and I are tired of.  Journalists are like sheep and they choose 'in' words or phrases and then use them to death.  Remember 'on the ground' and 'this story has legs'?  Now it's 'maverick'.  Like any other fashion, it'll go away soon and journalists will have a new 'in' word.

  3. I am, makes me think of the movie "Top Gun".

  4. I sure am.  I wouldn't mind so much if some other term was used (individualistic, nonconforming, etc) but this is the only context in which you hear it these days.  Which just proves its all parroting.

  5. Along with change, hope & heartbeat.

  6. Nope.

  7. As someone who supported Bush 95% of the time, John McCain is no longer a maverick: "An independent individual who does not go along with a group or pary."

Similarly, he's also not: "An unbranded range animal, especially a calf that has become separated from its mother."

  8. I'm tired of it - just like I'm tired of hearing "hope" and "change."

If you really want a maverick who will bring change and restore hope, vote third party.

That's what I will be doing for the third time in a row.

  9. I'm tired of hearing the words "my friends."

  10. Not nearly as much as " Change " .

Especially coming from two DC Government lawyers.

What the h**l makes anyone think their would be change in Washington with those two "lawyers" in office.

  11. I'm tired of hearing Obama say "Change"

Then he selects that old old Washingtonite as his running-mate.

  12. I'm tired of hearing Obama.
