  1. whts kind of ramps

  2. yea, it would be good to know what kind of ramp, except for yes, rails and ramps scratch and damage your skiis.

  3. Personally I wouldn't recommend bringing your favorite skis to water ramps.. If you are trying tricks off them, it's not going to make much difference what kind of ski you are on.. As you're not going to be doing any carving.. and you'll be in the air most of the time.

With that being said though. do what you like. Skis are DESIGNED to be covered in snow at all times. Snow is cold water.. so they are made to get wet.

If your skis have good lamination and aren't a POS it really shouldn't affect it much. And as far as the ramps..

if you are talking about the ski ramps at Park City or Whistler/Black Comb (I know there are a few others.. can't think of where)

they are designed for low resistance on your skis so they aren't going to tear them up that bad. Just give it a good wax the day before..

But again, I'd recommend taking a beater pair of skis.. as I wouldn't do it to my good ones and the skis you use aren't gonna make a difference.
