Are water signs better swimmers?

thats funny, but ..maybe. i like to swim, and im a virgo. my moms a fire sign, and shes scared of water, so maybe...:) hes cute, along with the other swimmers..

I'm a Scorpio I actually taught myself how to swim(breaststroke ,backstroke,etc) I was good enough to be on the swim team in HS.  I love swimming.  Are we better I don't know about that.

No silly, zodiac signs don't tell you if you're a better swimmer.

So fire signs can cook better since they're good with fire? My dad can't cook to save his life. My grandma is a Cancer and she has never swam in her life, pity. My mom is an air sign and she's afraid of flying on a plane.

Zodiacs just tell you about who you are...but if you're looking into becoming a better swimmer, find out your mars sign, if it's in Aries or Sagittarius you're probably quite athletic, also the rising sign and midheaven which determines your career.

Not really, zodiacs do not determine how great a person can be or what they are good at. A zodiac is really a narrow band in the sky in which the movements of the major planets, Sun, and Moon take place, astrologically divided into twelve sections named for the major constellations. It just tells you what constellation you belong.

Doubt it, i mean how can everybody that's born as a water sign be a good swimmer ?

I think a lot of water signs are naturally more comfortable around water, and enjoy swimming, but I'm not certain they'd be better at it than someone from another element.  For me, I'm a Cancer and I'm like a fish. I can't get enough of swimming and the water.  Maybe it's a Cancer thing? Of course, I am not where NEAR the level of Mr. Phelps. LOL
