  1. when I look at storm frequencies and types of storms over a hundred year or more basis I can't see one bit of difference, granted global temperature is increasing slowly but then again last I heard the planet was in the process of leaving an ice age and where temperatures now sit is close to normal, the Earth has been way warmer before

all of the environmental and global warming talk does tend to jack up oil and other energy prices, so it pays a lot of people to panic people as much as possible

environmentalists have recently lobbied to stop solar energy research, lol

  2. i was talking about this yesterday with friends and this is exactly what we were saying

  3. Read Silent Spring book written long ago which predicted that if we continued on this path, there would be mroe environmental disasters.  Written by Rachel Carson;  see source below.  thanks for listening

  4. when I was a kid only 30 years ago we never heard of tornadoes ever. Now there is a tornado at least once a month maybe more. I live in Canada where its supposed to snow in Sept or Oct now we are lucky to get a dusting in DEC or like last year no heavy snow till April with a foot in one day!!! Things are changing!!

  5. it feels like it,there is so many disasters happening and they are huge, not just small ones.it scares me.

  6. yez, globul wrmn kill us all1

  7. Yes I think we are

  8. No your dumb... with increased technology we are able to record and find more disasters the numbers are relatively the same.

  9. I believe so.

Since the earth is warming up to a certain degree every passing year, the more storms are able to stick around. Tornados for instance, can stay on the ground longer than before because they have more fuel to run on in the atmosphere. Severe weather and flooding as well are to blame for the warming of the earth. Places in the midwest have seen more rain than they can handle now...Last year everyone was begging for rain since some areas had intense droughts, now this year they beg for the rain to go away. Same with hurricanes...the warmer the gulf waters get, the more violent they will get--leading to more category 4 and 5 storms.
