It's fascinating to discover where we all originally came from.

  1. I seriously believe that humans are far older then what history says for example, look at the egyptians  in 3500 bc they out of nowhere become very sophisticated.By this i mean it didnt take them like 500 years to get really smart and stuff it just happened outta no where. Also check out the mayan and Incan civilizations; pyramids built exactly the same as the egyptian's pyramid.Burial chambers underground in the same exact way and both are very close to the equator and both have huge emphacise on the stars. Is it possible Atlantis really existed? I think so,

I just think scientists should be a little open minded, the answers are all there. I truly believe in what Plato said, Why a philosopher like plato that started the first university make that up. I think he deserves a little more credibility then what people give him .Hey they always said the city of Troy didnt exist, but it did. Can we be wrong about Atlantis?

  2. This won't win me any Popularity Contest. But the fact that only Blacks, and a few Semitic peoples that mixed with Blacks can get sickle-cell anemia. Shows that Blacks are most likely not originally from this planet.

Common sense tells me that the natural skin tone under the Sun on our World, is Brown. So if anybody is indigenous to this world, it would be the Browns from the Indus Valley.

I would imagine Blacks came from a Planet with a Hot Sun. Yellows a Planet with a Bright Sun. And Whites from an Ice Planet. Where the sky was overcast and gray all the time, and there was little exposure to the local Star.

  3. Hi Nelly,

PBS has a fascinating movie called 'Journey of Man' in which they have proven through DNA that all are descendants of the Bushmen of Africa. Its pretty interesting. Go to PBS, type in title and I think its only $29.

  4. and what makes you think they are not decended from us !! ??

  5. .if you think that is fascinating...... just wait until you learn that it was with Adam and Eve that our DNA was degraded and changed...... from a more aware and powerful being.

  6. u r such a wierdoo  lol  joke u do that is a joke dnt u lol   but any way how u

  7. It does seem that Africa is the "cradle of civilisation" and that homo sapiens - that's us - began there.  Gradually we spread up to Europe, across to where Russia now is, and over into Asia.

If you want to read more, try Robert Ardrey's "Territorial Imperative" which is about 40 years old and a bit right wing for my taste, or better still Jared Diamond's "Guns, Germs and Steel" 1999 an excellent read.

Yes, we are all related, if we can go back far enough.  Everyone born of English parents (for example) is - at most - 32nd cousins.  However, to calculate the distance between an English person and - say - an Italian, you'd have to go back centuries.  And for an African, probably even more, although the slave trade mixed up our genes more than most people realise.

  8. Yes, technically, we are all descended from a common ancestor, whom resided in Africa, however, Humans evolved all over the world. Technically, our origins could be traced as far back as a comet, which happened to collide with the earth. In theory, there are two ancient ancestors, which were not quite human, who gave birth to the human species (not a dramatic change from parents to children, but just enough of a change in the Genetic code). There is also0 evidence to suggest that at one point there were less then 10 humans who were able to reproduce surviving in the world.

  9. Hi Nelly,

I don't have my books in front of me so I can't give you exactly what you're asking, but I can help make sure you're not bombarded with psuedoscientific c**p.

Firstly, black people have a high incidence of sickle cell anemia NOT because they're from outer space (though I did have a good laugh about that) but because with SCA comes increased resistance to malaria.  Thus, people that have lived for ages in places where malaria is prevalent tend to have developed sickle cell anemia as an adaptation to protect them.

Secondly, there is no Atlantis and never was one.  Plato used the name Atlantis as a fictional place in order to get a point across.  Check it out if you'd like.  It's very probable that as archaelogical expeditions become equipped with more and more advanced technology that forgotten cities will be found, on land or in the sea.  Unfortunately, none of them will be the supposed Atlantis, as it never really existed.

Always insist on scientific proof when asking questions like yours.  Don't be content with what others tell you, including myself!  Do research and pay attention to the scientific consensus of professionals in that field- they typically know what they're doing.  Good luck!

  10. i very much doubt we all came from 2 people. 2 people cant populate the whole earth; theres different countries etc. it would be nice if we did though.

  11. lolol

Don't confuse the mitochondrial "Eve" with being the mother of the Human Race. She is the female to whom the mitochondria of all modern females can be traced. The mapping of the human genome allowed this search.

They can do the same with males tracing the ‘Y’ chromosome. I think I read that that particular trace takes us back less than 120,000 years.

The parents of humankind most likely shared grandparents with our cousins the chimpanzees. This was about 6 million years ago give or take.

  12. You are thinking of the woman's skull found in East Africa some years ago that had DNA matchable to us all and named EVE by the scientists. It certainly does look how you suggest.

  13. Depends on if your religious. If you are then Adam and Eve. If not then no. The human race was around before the continents split. There were many decedents not just two (evolution doesn't work that way). We became a race nomads and populated the world.

  14. we descend from a sub group of primates (lucy) originally found  from africa.  Though not of only 2 people a group of people
