Are we all doing our part to tackle climate change?

Question

Admit it, some of you guys are not encouraging climate change as you should be. So, give me some ideas about what you are doing to tackle it in order to save our planet for future generations to come.

I am not ignorant enough to believe that  our microcosm of existence could affect a planet on a grand scale.

It take great faith to believe in something you cant see or touch.

How can we do our part to tackle something that is not only not harming us, but we aren't causing?

My company and I are doing a whole lot to reduce our carbon footprint, and I am President of the Company.  My AC is kept at a higher temperature, but made just as comfortable by running fans using the principal of a wind chill.  I don't use any plastic bottles for beverages.  I drive a Chevy Aveo, which has lower emissions and gets excellent gas mileage.  And when I can get my hands on them, I'm going to roll solar foil on the roof, generate more electricity than I make, and get paid for the power I send back.  But most importantly, I'm creating a proposal for energy independence by 2020 and am building support so that I can make a genuine impact.

Yes I am. I am driving more and making sure I get the worst gas mileage that I can with my car. I am also burning more wood and coal than before.

I can do this because the only thing we can do for climate change is let the earth go through its natural processes.

Well I live in a geothemic home it was made from unrecyclable matterial. I live off the grid and use solar and wind generation for power I am constantly inventing new ways to help save the enviroment so that my children can look at the mountains without having to see it through the smog. I am currently working with a group to change the existing airport design which will kill 10 thousand children a day with pollution from jet aircraft and with Jim Starry's new design we will save a million gallons of fuel a day and decrease our dependancy for foriegn oil which will save the lives of our soldiers and save lives. Google the name Jim Starry and see him on the freont page of USA Today you will read about a man who consintrates on the solution not the problem and who has spent 2 million of his own money to save all of us and at the same time has not had any help from anyone to do this he is now 70 years old and it would be ashame if he were to die with all his knowlege he has 123 technologies to save the enviroment and excepts blame for causing the changes for the enviroment he has been tring to tell people how to change their way of living to save the planet and has been for 30 years because he knows it was his generation that put us were we are today he worked on the titian missle project and other govt. programs that have caused the current condition of the planet. I am so glad to have him in my life he has showed me ways to improve the effecencie of my solar and wind power at first I thought he was a nut until I tried his inventions on what I had and guess what it worked and then I started to help him with his crusade and saw that most are closed minded and act as if they are interested and at the same time dont really care what happens to the world I'm glad to see someone like yourself who wants to know what the rest of us are doing to help decrease the current heating of the planet Right now he and I are working on an electric car and the prototype is coming along great I never thought it was so easy but it is all we have to do is think and you know what the answers are in us all just stand up and be counted and dont take no as an answer!

We only make 5% of the carbon emissions. Global warming is a natural occurance.  There are many periods of warming and cooling throughout history.

Mother earth can take car of herself. But we should also clean up after ourselves to avoid extinctions of other animals.

It's summer where I live and the weather is doing what it's supposed to do.  Right now, it's warm and humid.  Tomorrow, it will be warm, but not as humid.  Summer does that.  It will be much warmer at the end of the week, but that is typical for this time of year.  I expect August to be even warmer, because August is a typically hot summer month.  

Neil Diamond's, Hot August Night album was done in the early 1970's so hot weather is nothing new.

"Climate change" is just another name for a non-existent event trying to get people to live in a pre-industrial society.
