Are we allowed to be, like, obsessed, with singers/actors

Question

like, the jonas brothers are all over my room, my computer, my speech, my clothing, my life (its called ojd : obsessive jonas disorder). my grandpa always gets really mad at me for that and says its not islamic. am i missing something? cuz i dug up alot of leonardo dicaprio flipbooks in my aunts house. are we not allowed to like stars?

You're not supposed to be obsessed with anyone from the opposite s*x, be they famous or non-famous, unless it's your wife/husband. You're supposed to lower your gaze and preserve yourself for your future spouse, otherwise you're perving on them which obviously isn't allowed.

No, because that is a form of minor shirk. It reaches a point where everything they do influences you, in a sense worshiping them to an extent.

Some people set up equals to Allah, loving them as they should love Allah. But those who believe have greater love for Allah. (Qur'an 2: 165)

Instead one should use their time to look up to those who will benefit them in this life. Like the Prophet (peace be upon him).

Indeed in the Messenger of Allâh (Muhammad SAW) you have an excellent example to follow, for him who hopes for (the Meeting with) Allâh and the Last Day and remembers Allâh much. (Qur'an 33: 21)

EDIT: Just because your aunt did it in the past, does not make it legitimate. Two wrongs do not make a right. Listen to your grandpa, he knows what's right.

It is wrong becuz it sort off becomes as though you idolize them which is totally wrong and can lead to shirk.

Sweetie, it's kinda sad to be so obsessed with stars. You have your own life and they don't even know of your existence!

A salam alykum sis.. honestly you are not supposed to be lisening to music in the first place.. its haram.. its a temptation from the shaytan(devil).. and it keeps you away from Allah.. and weakens ur Eeman.. as  for the actor thing.. ur not supposed to have posters of anything that has to do with actors or music etc.. you can like a certain movie or think that a certain actor is good.. but not have posters of them or obsess over them and things like that.. so sis you might wanna change your clothing,computer wallpaper, and your speech and all those things.. for the sake of Allah.. hopes this help sis insha'Allah.. a salam alykum

_______If obsessing doesn't take you away from Allah then I say go for it...I wouldn't neccessarily go for the whole Jonas brother stuff in the room .....it could become a LITTLE SCARY!!!
